Public speaking dates back centuries, yet still remains one of the most important skills we can acquire in modern times. So, why is it so important to know?

At some point during the course of our lives, many of us will find ourselves in the position where we will need to speak in front of a group of people. Maybe it is an oral report in school or a proposal at work. After gathering your materials and preparing what to say, you arrive at the podium and start talking.

Often, people get incredibly nervous the first time they give a speech in front of their peer group, however, teaching you the essential skills for doing this will help you confidently communicate when giving your speech.

Introduction to Public Speaking (Level 1)

Includes: Identify speaking skills you already have and how to enhance those speaking skills, do’s and dont’s of public speaking, Overcoming fear of public speaking, voice projection and a mantra to go away with.

Public Speaking (Level 2)

Includes: Audience analysis, speech writing, using aids, eliminating filler words i.e. ahh’s, umm’s and other such words, stage fright techniques, using lecterns and impromptu speaking.

Public Speaking (Level 3)

Includes: Story telling, evoking emotion, focus on message, advanced projection techniques, mantra and 3 – 5 mins speech without filler words.
