MY BOUNCE

My Bounce was designed around the concepts of Resilience, with the added visual of “bouncing back”. My bounce is a tool to practice responding to life’s challenges. Challenges are presented and the user chooses Skills & Attitudes that he or she wishes to apply in order to respond to that challenge. The Skills & Attitudes to be applied may be unfamiliar to some or may need clarification for others. A coach can play a valuable role in clarifying these concepts.

Asking good questions, being curious, and requesting that the person consider/try new skills is essential to achieving fulfillment. In order to maintain balance in an ever-changing world, one must learn to be resilient. We’ve developed some questions which relate to the Skills & Attitudes of resilience which may be useful in a coaching/teaching situation.

My Bounce teaches how to recognise your own techniques of bouncing back from adversity - what do you need to “recover” vs what someone else might need? How do you implement strategies when you recognise adversity coming your way? What assistance might you need and how do you ask for it?

Typically a 2 hour session aimed at school groups, council youth groups and corporate groups.
